We’ve scoured the internet to find every detail about the consumer goods you see on shelves. What we’ve used to produce the carbon footprint algorithm is: product dimensions, weight, packaging materials, location of manufacture (and size of manufacturing plant, type of lighting used etc), transportation used to get from the manufacturer to the distributor and then to the store….we’ve kinda gone deep on the data! So you can feel confident that the carbon footprint number the App provides you with is thoroughly researched and accurate.

So far the database comprises nearly 4 million products! But of course, as you would expect, this database is constantly growing.
