This is part 2 of a mini series covering some of the most common arguments against climate action that we are faced with. Although it’s more and more difficult to believe that people still don’t think the climate crisis is really happening, we know it to be true. But we also know that often the arguments against climate action are based on fear. So in this video we dive into some more of those arguments and how you can handle them, in a polite and respectful way. Number 1. They say: “It would’ve been good if we did something about this 30 years ago. But it’s just too late now, climate change is locked in.” Number 2 They say: “Moving to all this renewable energy will send the country bankrupt. And millions of people will be out of work!” And number 3 They say: “There are enough issues in my life without me thinking about this one, which won’t even effect me.” Tune in to find out how we think you could respond to those sorts of arguments.
